There is no question that the use of voice search has been on the rise in recent years.
In fact, if you're reading this, then you have probably have a smart device at home, at your office, or have used one.
It would be amiss to say that voice search has overtaken traditional text search; however, according to Kin+Carta, voice search facilities over a billion searches per month, which is 38x more than ten years ago.
But, it's not expected to take too long.
In fact, comscore predicts that all searches will be performed via voice by next year.
Taking advantage now could position your website to become more prominent on search engine result pages in the near future via featured snippets.
Featured snippets are the results that are read aloud when you make a voice search. These snippets actually show up above the regular search results and have been referred to as Position Zero.
