Vice President, Head of Investor Relations and Communications
Bausch Pharma* is seeking a Vice President to lead the company’s Investor Relations (IR) and Communications team. The VP will act as the company’s primary spokesperson to the investment community, and is responsible for the development, execution, and evolution of a best-in-class IR and Communications strategy. The successful candidate will be a seasoned IR and Communications professional, with an established reputation of credible, high-quality engagement with financials analysts, investors and the media. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and other members of the Executive Committee.
Responsibilities include:
Act as the company’s primary spokesperson to the to the investment community Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products, strategy, operations and financial performance to accurately represent these to the investment community Lead the earnings process, including the quarterly earnings news release, call script and Q&A Lead the development of content for Investor Days, bus tours, conference presentations and fireside chats; and ensure management is well-prepared for all investor events Handle day-to-day inquiries from investors and analysts, ensuring that information provided complies with applicable SEC rules and regulations, and work closely with research analysts to improve the company’s exposure to the investor community Provide counsel to the CEO, CFO, executive team and/or Board of Directors regarding Best Practices in IR and Communications, as well as reputation and issues management Collaborate effectively across the company to ensure efficiency and consistency along with factual and transparent investor and media messaging. This includes working closely with Marketing, Finance, Legal, R&D, Market Access, Government Relations and Business Development Provide feedback and insight to management regarding the financial community’s perception of the company and its actions; provide strategic recommendations accordingly Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive, integrated, cohesive communications strategy that builds and protects the company’s reputation, engages key internal and external stakeholders, and aligns the company’s global organization behind a common corporate narrative Leverage the corporate narrative to clearly communicate the company’s vision and value proposition to global stakeholders and build corporate brand Provide oversight for Corporate, Internal and Product communications colleagues to ensure inward and external communications are effective and to promote the key brands, products and services of the company Develop, oversee and curate a world-class Investor Relations and Communications team Speak for management and serve as the authoritative central source of information and perspectives to key external media Brief and counsel management on matters affecting the company’s imageRequirements:
At least 15 years of corporate Investor Relations experience, combination of corporate/agency and or independent Strong working knowledge of the health care industry and pharmaceuticals, in particular, with a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on complex scientific subjects Strong executive presence and proven ability to advise, counsel and coach top corporate leaders Proven ability to adapt and execute decisively in a challenging and rapidly changing environment, and deliver results quickly Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, team player and self-starter; serious commitment to hard work and excellence Crisis management experience Leadership style capable of building and curating a dynamic teamEducation:
BS or BA , finance preferred MBA or CFA preferredThis position may be available in the following location: Bridgewater, NJ
