Epsilyte seeks a Product Manager to join our Company Headquarters in The Woodlands, TX. This important role is responsible for managing the Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) product group regarding annual product and contracting strategy, long-term product planning, adjustment of product strategy based on market conditions and near-term performance analysis. Primary Responsibilities
Provide a product vision aligned with current market trends, competitor value proposition, and overall company strategy. Ensure the team is creating products which will drive value for customers and the business. Monitor and drive product performance across life cycle. Work with Commercial and Operations to drive holistic management of revenue, margin, and cost to maximize profit from assets, define measures, set targets, and implement plans to improve performance. Research and analyze market trends, competitor products, and other information relevant to the company’s marketing objectives Define commercial strategy for existing / current product – work with sales teams to set market prices, define pricing and contracting strategies, and move this strategy into the product creation process. Understand asset, operational, and technical capabilities to ensure the strategy is feasible given constraints. Works closely with Sales, R&D, and Operations on design, distribution, and product specifications/changes as needed. Tracks and analyzes product order patterns, customer demand, and works with product planners to ensure customer requirements are being met at the lowest cost to serve Other duties as assigned or interested. . Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. Strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel. 3+ years of relevant product, marketing and/or sales experience in chemicals industry. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or similar system is preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Ability to identify the trend of supply and demand balance, utilizing strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Effective business communication skills at all levels to include facilitation, problem solving and persistent follow up.About Epsilyte
