Marketing Project Coordinator – Benders Landing – Spring, TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Regular and consistent attendance.

Establish, develop and maintain client-based partnerships in assigned geographic area.

Coordinate sales efforts with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of any events.

Formulate, affect, interpret, or implement marketing, advertising, promotions, public relations and public service projects for an assigned geographic area.

Interpret execution details of marketing projects to achieve the best value.

Participate in district meetings and conference calls with Operations colleagues in an assigned geographic section of the country.

Visit company locations to evaluate and improve marketing program execution in the field.

Guide and instruct theatre-level personnel in their execution of marketing and promotional programs.

Visit key competitor theatres to evaluate their marketing programs and to assess local consumer perceptions of value.

Propose solutions and resolve conflicting interests among stakeholders for the successful execution of a project.

Develop, present and implement win-win strategies to secure partners for marketing and promotional efforts.

Negotiate and execute such partnerships with corporate, community and media outlets while representing the company in a positive manner.

Negotiate and coordinate local promotions within assigned markets working with businesses, both for-profit and non-profit, community groups, local authorities and media such as television and radio stations and news publications.

Coordinate marketing programs and projects including but not limited to: Regal Crown Club, Building Renovations/Expansions, Grand Openings, Stars of Hope, Summer Movie Express, Regal Unlimited, film marketing, community involvement and special events.

Develop and update marketing overviews for each assigned market which will include, but not be limited to, local promotion activity, media contacts, key partners, etc., and communicate such efforts with management.

Stay abreast of marketing tactics among competitors and other retailers to watch for successful opportunities.

Handle delicate communication with members of the media who may at times be confrontational or negative in tone.

Generate interest among members of the media for projects which will benefit from public recognition and publicity.

Represent the company in a professional manner while making stage presentations or through other public appearances.

Available to travel on short notices to execute marketing and public relations initiatives around the country.

Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects by prioritizing work accordingly.

Accept new challenges and directions from many sources including requests from multiple departments, prioritizing work, simultaneously supervising multiple projects and maintaining communication regarding the progress of each project.

Perform these duties with minimal supervision and at times relying on personal expertise, knowledge, resources and enthusiasm to execute within tight timelines and budgets.

Advise Corporate Management as to improvements to established marketing policies and procedures and be engaged in the long/short term planning of related business objectives.

Possess good financial abilities for negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, and record keeping.

Perform other duties as directed by the National Marketing Manager and VP Communications.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Formal education equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or four years’ experience in the field of marketing, advertising, public relations, or theatre industry required. Prior experience in the coordination of special events preferred. Knowledge of media research reports and ability to analyze data to recommend effective partnerships. Knowledge of essential sales tactics preferred. Knowledge of theatre industry preferred.

Language Ability:
Possess good public speaking, and creative writing skills. Listen effectively, respond clearly and directly, prepare clear and concise written reports or records and explain information to others. Interface effectively with customers, the public, and co-workers, and exhibit sensitivity to feelings of others.

Math Ability:
Perform calculations with speed and accuracy, and identify and correct errors.

Reasoning Ability:
Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems. Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence. Take action beyond what is necessarily called for, and perform tasks with a minimal amount of supervision. Perform under pressure and/or opposition. Establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives.

Computer Skills:
Proven experience with PC platforms and knowledge of the following computer programs: Windows Operating Systems, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point). Use tools and equipment with dexterity and perform mechanical tasks as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities
