The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the regional marketing strategy for the assigned Line of Business in support of organizational business objectives. This will include developing customer profiles, key messages, campaign calendars, and identifying the appropriate mix of marketing channels based on business needs. The Marketing Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to assigned business leaders within their region, serving as the liaison between the business, key suppliers and the Global Marketing team. The individual must be comfortable and successful in a globally matrix/shared resource environment where success will often be determined by building positive relationships, leading through influence, and excelling in a team first environment.
Key Responsibilities:Working with assigned business leaders, develop annual regional strategic marketing plan that helps the organization achieve identified business objectives, balancing key suppliers and trends across all regions. Develop and manage marketing campaigns that support the larger strategy, using market analysis, industry intelligence, and other information to position the organization, product, or service in appropriate geographies. Serve as the project manager for the development of relevant content and materials, working closely with Global Marketing team to ensure timely and accurate execution while balancing regional trends, culture and language. Lead Voice of Customer, value proposition, customer buying journey, customer/supplier persona, and market segmentation activities for assigned line of business within assigned region. Work with Product Management, Technical, and Sales to develop joint marketing programs with key suppliers, leveraging work across multiple regions as able. Condense analysis related to campaign performance, market trends, and regulatory development into practical insights that inform executives across Sales, Marketing, Product Management and other fields
Education/Experience:Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science degree required; MBA preferred. 10-12 years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years of proven B2B marketing experience.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:Experience supporting business growth initiatives in a B2B environment. Experience in customer segmentation and modeling. Strong writing skills and the demonstrated ability to build content that is sometimes technical in nature, not just edit. Demonstrable experience leading and managing coordinated marketing campaigns with a working understanding of digital marketing, media relations, trade show execution, and other areas in support of omnichannel efforts. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Up-to-date with the latest trends and standard methodologies in marketing and measurement. Ability to work in a fast paced environment while successfully handling multiple projects at the same time. Proven team leadership skills.
