SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing Local Store Marketing (LSM) within a designated local trade area to generate traffic and profitable sales in the specified area. This position is responsible for developing sales driving tactics to secure new business opportunities. The Sales Coordinators role is to be out in the trade area promoting, selling, creating relationships in the community and generating new sales opportunities.
RESPONSILIBITIES:Increase sales in designated trade area.Provides LSM plan to Director of Marketing, that outlines goals, focus, sales trends, areas of opportunity and other related details.Executes boots on the ground initiatives to secure new business opportunities and develop community relationships.Identifies and reports LSM tools needed such as advertisements, materials, premiums, and Point of Purchase materials (POP) that are not currently provided.Aligns local Operations Teams with marketing initiatives through communication of plans, materials and action items to support monthly promotions.Documents and communicates the marketing activities and provides measured results to the Director of Marketing and Director of Operations.Develops monthly measurement reports of the marketing activities that capture LSM activity objectives, program results, and sales impact.Coordinates all Local Store Planning for assigned stores.Ensures marketing activities are in alignment with marketing strategic goals.Executes planned activities such as programs, sponsorships and events for approved LSM initiatives, as required.Actively engages with all parties to ensure quality of data, communications and reports.
Desired Skills and Experience
EDUCATION:A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Human Behavior is preferred, but not required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:6-12 months experience preferably in restaurant industryPositive and Upbeat AttitudeDemonstrated ability to communicate well with the general public; ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, vendors and co- workers.
KNOWLEDGE:Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointElementary understanding of budgetary concepts and proceduresElementary ability to delegate tasks and get work done through othersWritten communications skillsOrganizational skills
