Description: Beasley Esports (parent company of Houston Outlaws) is looking for a strategic and social minded marketer to help execute on marketing and sponsorship strategies for their Esports franchises. The ideal candidate will have a hand in all aspects of our marketing efforts and work closely with all other departments to ensure we are representing the brand in the best way possible.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Reports to and works closely with the Beasley Esports Executive Director of Marketing & Events to execute the marketing strategy, content and deliverables for Beasley Esports teams, which currently includes the Houston Outlaws (in the Overwatch League) and TEAM AXLE-R8 (in the Rocket League Championship Series). Our goal is to create “content and experiences” in an effort to grow our fanbases, partnerships and revenues.You will leverage your strategic, creativity, and collaborative skills to develop and implement marketing opportunities that elevate our brand and appeal to both fans and sponsors.Assist Executive Director of Marketing in collaboration with the sponsorship team to develop Beasley Esports/multi-brand team assets to drive incremental revenue for Beasley Esports.Develop and manage emails, landing pages and social media assets.From a research perspective, ensure that our fan and content deliverables are developed and fully leveraged through our social media channels by monitoring and leveraging our data analytics to expand and grow our connections to our fans and sponsors and to optimize performance. To accomplish this, we will utilize our Outlaws and TEAM AXLE-R8 players, content creators, and our marketing department to effectively drive brand awareness, call to actions, purchase intent and sales lift whenever possible.This includes helping us understand our audience (demos, behavior, psychographic and geographically) to ensure all content assets are designed to deliver maximum media value to our partners—and to justify that our resources are being allocated in the right way.This includes an understanding of all current (and future) Esports media platforms and the software platforms we are using to gauge success and track analytics.Create and communicate analytics across KPIs and make data-driven decisions.Coordinate logistics of digital ad campaigns, including determining priorities, meeting deadlines, working with digital/creative department on design, copy writing for fan-facing content as well as sponsorship focused material, file delivery and communications with vendors.Ability and passion to write both creative and sales-focused copy.Keep up with and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Work within brand voice and tone, both in visual representation and editorial style, in order to support the consistency of messaging across campaigns and the organization.Help develop marketing plans with an emphasis on digital and social strategyExecute social distribution of content on key platforms and have an in-depth knowledge of those platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Facebook, etc.).Ability to create/conceptualize content for each platformExport and analyze social data to identify trends and help inform strategyCover live events (“couch coverage” and IRL). At times coverage will be needed outside of normal business hours.Serve as a Brand Ambassador for Beasley Esports, the Houston Outlaws, and TEAM AXLE-R8 in all public-facing situations.


Have a passion for Esports (preferably with a working knowledge of Overwatch and Rocket League)Understanding of social media management tools and analytics and the ability to recommend tools that will help achieve goals and KPIs.Ability to map out and execute comprehensive social marketing plans, promotions, advertising and SEM.Creative thinker who is highly motivated to deliver content excellence within any given assigned parameters and topics—while capturing the vibe and humor of our brands and formatsHas an inquisitive nature, dialed into pop culture, and excels at ideating/brainstormingAble to thrive within a fast-paced environment and multi-task in an organized, professional, dependable mannerExcellent grammar and writing skills are essential, along with a visual sensibilityBachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or mass communications requiredBased in the Houston, Texas area or willing to relocate
