The Digital Media Planner/Analyst role: Meet with our clients to establish what they want to accomplish per campaign. You take that information and develop an executable digital plan based on an understanding of what they are trying to accomplish, in the time frame given and on budget. After reviewing with the client stakeholders and internal team members you then place the buys for media. Once campaigns are under way, you will review, analyze and make adjustments in tactics for performance. These adjustments and progress will be reported to the client. When campaigns are completed, we make recommendations for continued success on future campaigns of a similar nature that includes detailed analytics as well as analog reasoning on what to do with it. Qualified candidates will have a mastery of the digital media space and have the ability to keep up with the latest techniques. You will be expected to help team members and clients better understand and execute your strategies and tactics. The Digital Media Planner/Analyst must report campaign progress to their team and communicate changes in the Digital Marketing and SEO fields to the client to enhance their understanding and the success of their campaigns and efforts. You must be fluent in the platforms for buying, reporting and making adjustment recommendations on media buys.
This job requires soft skills in communications and reasoning in addition to digital analytics.
Duties & Responsibilities:Create and manage digital media plans for multiple client accountsAct as point of contact for multiple digital marketing campaignsDevelop strategies for your clients based on identified success metricsOversee execution and buying of digital marketing strategiesAnalyze digital marketing campaigns, provide client reporting metrics, and make strategic adjustments where necessaryAssist in training individual team members to better understand the digital space and gain an understanding of best practicesProvide ongoing digital marketing campaign updates to both agency and client executivesAssist in addressing and resolving client concerns
Qualifications:Mastery of digital media buying tactics, platforms, and analytical reporting toolsPaid Search, Native, OTT, Display, Direct platform buyingMinimum two years’ experience in digital media planning/buying/analyticsCandidate should be results-driven, organized and self-directedProven track record in developing digital buying plansMust be Google Analytics certifiedAdditional certificates/degrees/certifications in the digital sphere are expected (probably not a strong fit if all you know is GA.)Ability to turn business requirements into deliverablesBachelor’s degreeKnowledge of SEO tactics and reporting for integrationCommunication and soft skills are a must. You will be engaging in person, with Skype and on the phone with clients and internal team members.
