Efforts to make a sustainable impact on people, the planet and communities are integrated into HP’s business strategy and operations. Earlier this year, HP unveiled its most ambitious Sustainable Impact agenda to date across Climate Action, Human Rights, and Digital Equity. Achieving our goals will take coordination with and action by teams all across the company—and communications will be key.

In this role, you will be responsible for further integrating Sustainable Impact into the culture at HP while supporting a range of internal and external communications activities. Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, this role will support a broad set of priorities including expanding employee training opportunities, executing internal campaigns, supporting executive speaking engagements, and more.

This is a terrific role for someone looking to support an ambitious sustainability and social impact agenda at a leading technology company. We are looking for a creative thinker and strong writer with strong project management skills who excels in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

Provide tactical communications support for internal and external Sustainable Impact announcements and campaigns in collaboration with relevant HP teams.

Manage day-to-day ad hoc communications requests, including:

Fielding ongoing requests for content and reviews across teams, business organizations and regions to ensure alignment and accuracy

Vetting external and internal speaking requests for executives

Leading updates of awards and recognitions materials

Create and manage structure for employee groups focused on Sustainable Impact across HP and help activate employees aligned to HP’s 2030 goals.

Lead and execute expansion of Sustainable Impact training opportunities for employees aligned to HP’s 2030 Sustainable Impact agenda.

Bring creative thinking to the team with a focus on identifying new ways to tell HP’s Sustainable Impact story, empower employees, and engage with key external audiences.

Required qualifications:

At least 3-5 years of communications experience in an agency and/or corporate environment.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Creative thinker who’s not afraid to try new things and suggest new ideas.

Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail and deadlines.

Effective collaborator with global mindset who can foster strong working relationships across teams.

Thrives in a dynamic environment and calmly adapts to change when needed.

Experience with sustainability and/or social impact topics a plus, but not a requirement.
