The 17-year-old from Missouri City is the CEO of Sienna Sauce, a wing-style sauce company established on April 7, 2017 in Sienna, Texas, per its official website. Available in tangy, lemon pepper and spicy, the sauce is such a fan favorite that the family-based company had to create a subscription program for people who couldn't stand the feeling of going without it.
And with the help of Austin-based jewelry mogul Kendra Scott, they won't have to. The businesswoman has vowed to invest $100,000 in Crayton's business, netting 20 percent of her profits in return.

Scott is a guest judge on the ABC's 12th season of Shark Tank, and found herself "so impressed with Tyla-Simone’s creativity and drive during her pitch in the tank," per CultureMap's Steven Devadanam. “As a fellow female entrepreneur and Texan, I’m excited to see our partnership grow."
Crayton began experimenting with her own sauce recipes at age eight when she was still living in New York, per Houston Chronicle's Juhi Varma. Her and her family's favorite wing place had closed down, and she wanted to see if she could make something similar.
“I would wake up Sunday mornings, hand-bottle the sauce, packat, and then sell it to my local community,” said Crayton, as reported by Devadanam. “Once I got enough money from that, we were able to go to a professional manufacturer and get my sauce manufactured.”
You can find Sienna's Sauce on Amazon and in more than 70 independent stores and chains across Texas and beyond, per Devadanam, including five H-E-B stores in the Houston area.
